Pulling a tub sled on light snow coverage is OK, but when the snow gets deeper the tub starts to plow the snow in front of it and the pull becomes difficult. Anytime there is snow on the ice use a Smitty sled. I recommend using 10" high risers instead of the 6" high ones.
